The “ASAN Bridge” project won the international nomination
The “World Summit on Information Society Prizes” Forum has been organized in Switzerland.
Along with Azerbaijan, 1,270 e-projects from many countries of the world were submitted to the annual World Summit on Information Society Prizes – “WSIS Prizes – 2022”. After reviewing more than 1.3 million votes, the “ASAN Bridge” project of the e-government center of the “ASAN service” won the highest number of votes in the fifth category - building confidence and security in the use of ICT.
“ASAN Bridge”, a national information exchange system, was launched in April 2021. The main purpose of the system is to exchange information between state bodies in a sustainable and secure manner. The exchange of information through the system is carried out in encrypted form, which ensures the security of the data. At present, 308 state information resources and systems of 44 organizations have been integrated into the system. It should be noted that Fariz Jafarov, Director of the E-GOV Development Center (EGDC) of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is on a business visit to Switzerland. Within the framework of the visit, the Director of the Center participated in the " World Summit on Information Society Prizes" Forum ("WSIS Forum - 2022").
He informed about the reforms carried out in the field of public services in our country and made a presentation on "ASAN service" centers, Mobile ASAN service. The future of public services, Azerbaijan's achievements in digital literacy, digital services, and proactive public services were also discussed during the meeting.
